B rian J. McKenzie joined the ERC in March 2016 and now serves as the Senior Training and Compliance Program Manager. In this role, he is responsible for compliance testing and non-ADA fair housing trainings. Prior to joining the ERC, he worked as a Research Associate and Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Coordinator at the Fair Housing Contact Service in Akron, Ohio. In this role, Brian procured $7,000 in grant funding, developed and managed a program to test for housing discrimination and investigated landlords’ compliance with local and federal laws. He also provided fair housing training and education to local government representatives and members of the housing industry, and developed educational materials. Brian graduated from University of Pittsburgh with an MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s of Arts in History and Political Science.
