S usie McClannahan joined the Equal Rights Center in 2016 and currently serves as the Senior Manager of the Fair Housing Rights Program. In this role, she leads systemic investigations into housing discrimination throughout the ERC’s service area, which includes Northern Virginia, DC, the state of Maryland, and Jefferson County, West Virginia. She also manages the intake program, which provides direct assistance to individuals that are alleging housing discrimination in the Washington, DC region. Lastly, she facilitates know your rights presentations for community residents and service providers and offers policy guidance to government agencies and stakeholders in order to promote fair housing.
