Beth ArgentSenior Civil Rights Testing Coordinator

    B eth joined the ERC in March 2020 and now serves as the Senior Civil Rights Testing Coordinator. In this role, Beth is responsible for coordinating fair housing testing projects and assisting on investigations. Prior to joining the ERC, Beth worked as the Accessibility Advocate for Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia. In this role, she managed all intakes and testing related to disability discrimination and advocated for clients. Additionally, Beth worked as a homeless outreach worker at the Mental Illness Recovery Center in South Carolina for several years. As a person with a mental illness herself, Beth is a passionate advocate for persons with mental illness and other disabilities. Beth is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Craft and Material Studies.
