Following an investigation, the ERC sued fast food chain Potbelly’s, alleging that the service counters at all locations surveyed exceeded the maximum allowance under the Americans with Disabilities Act, making it difficult for people with disabilities to order. In a settlement agreement, Potbelly’s committed to ensuring counters at all locations nationwide were ADA-complaint.
