Following several complaints, the ERC filed a lawsuit against national restaurant chain Cosi, alleging inadequate access for individuals with disabilities and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A settlement agreement resolved the suit and required Cosi to adopt policies to improve accessibility and provide ADA training to staff.
