M egan Brooks joined the ERC in July 2019 and serves as the Accessibility Rights Coordinator. In this role, Megan works on the ERC’s disability rights projects, which includes accessibility site surveys. Prior to joining the ERC, Megan worked as a Law Fellow for Disability Rights DC at University Legal Services. As a Law Fellow, Megan worked with inmates with serious mental illness to secure access to mental health services. Megan earned her law degree, with honors, from Syracuse University College of Law where she participated in the Disability Rights and Public Policy Program, also receiving her master’s degree in Cultural Foundations of Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Disability Studies. Megan received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, in Peace and Justice Studies from Regis University.
