K ierstyn joined the ERC in April 2023 as a Testing Assistant. In this role she assists the testing team with administrative needs. Before joining the ERC, Kierstyn worked as an Administrative Assistant for a behavioral health outpatient clinic. Kierstyn received her BA in Psychology from Salisbury University in May of 2022. During her senior year, Kierstyn conducted research on campus using photovoice methodology to analyze the experiences of students of color at predominantly White institutions post-pandemic, and presented the findings to faculty and students at her alma mater’s annual student research conference. Since graduating, Kierstyn has facilitated a roundtable conversation advocating for social justice training being included in undergraduate psychology training and received other presenting and publishing opportunities.
