Kalisha JacksonCivil Rights Testing Coordinator

K alisha joined the ERC in February 2021 and serves as the Civil Rights Testing Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating fair housing testing projects and assisting in investigations. Prior to joining the ERC, Kalisha worked as the Senior Fair Housing Specialist at Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia. In this role, she managed all intakes, advocated for clients, and assisted with fair housing testing. Kalisha’s passion is educating marginalized communities about financial literacy. She previously worked as a Financial Wellbeing Coach at Operation HOPE, where she educated individuals about financial management, credit, homeownership, and small business. Currently, Kalisha volunteers her free time educating formerly incarcerated individuals and survivors of human trafficking about financial literacy. Kalisha is a graduate of J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Kalisha is also a HUD certified housing counselor, board-certified credit consultant, and a board-certified credit score consultant.
